1. Good solid opening principles ( Develop pieces,  Occupy center,  Castle ) 

2. Middle game - control and occupy the center and put pressure and tactics will appear.
                           - Magic of chess tactics ( magician ). 

3. Checklist -
     Checks (team attack) ,
     Captures, 
     Attacks. 


4.  End game - passed pawn to queen.

Grandmasters calculate many moves ahead.
